The velomount 3240 from Balco is a heavy-duty, high-performance tyre changer with 10” to 24” clamping range.
From the extra-thick turntable plate to the oversized vertical column, the 3240 is unashamedly ‘over-engineered’ in every department, ensuring this machine can withstand the pressure of the most demanding tyre shop, or anyone who needs to ensure that rims are handled with the utmost care.
To demonstrate this, the 3240 has an RUSC (Resistance Under Stress Coefficient) value of just 0.63, thus ensuring the durability of the most vital component, the demount head, for tangential, radial and vertical movement under stress from a difficult tyre.

A robotic pipe provides fully-automatic control of the up/down movement of the demount head (instead of the manual, spring-movement), and the bead breaker delivers a class-leading 3180kg of pressure – compare that to the competition!
